The Villages

"Yeah ... i-it was nice," Sakura smiled.

Cross put an arm around Ren's shoulder and pointed into the mass of people chatting.
"Right, your family, how many of them are here?" He asked.

"I only have my parents." Ren replied, "So just the two of them."

"And which two would they be?" Cross asked.

"Ren, don't let him meet your parents without adult supervision," Sakura warned him.
Cross chuckled a little.
"No," Sakura clarified "I'm serious, he's an idiot!"

"I hesitate to tell you who, without getting a reason first." Ren said, heeding Sakura's warning.

"I don't know, you never talk about them," Cross said with a shrug "I wanna meet them, can I pleeeeeeeaaaasse?"

"Cross, how about we just go around the crowd?" Nakida suggested.

"'S'cuse me." Kaisu muttered as he slipped away from the group.

He had moved, but was still in plain sight.

Dammit. All his opportunities, and he decides to pop up now?

"Alright fine," Cross sighed, following Nakida.

"Mou! I'm bored," Ame pouted, kicking up dust "Why does Arashi get to go to a wedding while I have to sit around here with you two and a crummy plant-growth thing?"
Jishin was staring through a pair of binoculars at the church and then angrily looked up at Ame.
"Shut up!" He growled, "Just wait until he gives us the signal and then we can start trashing this whole town with the local plant-life,"

Kaisu shuffled through the crowd as Nakida steered Cross around.

He reached into his jacket and pulled out his Tri-Basher and aimed it at Arashi's head beforing firing.

The recoil hurt and the bullet flew astray and hit the wall about half a metre above his head.

Ren glanced over the crowd, then saw Kaisu fire on someone; the man from before. Ren ran towards Kaisu, pushing people aside.

Something was obviously wrong. He was at least glad his team was there, even if one of the team members had caused it to start.

Arashi approached Ren and Kaisu. He looked at them coldly for a second and then removed his sunglasses.

Both of his eyes were bright green. There was a gasp from various members of the crowd and then Arashi raised his hand to the air.
"Chakusou ..." There was a flash of green as a sickly neon lightning bolt smashed through the roof and engulfed Arashi. By the time everyone's eyes had stopped getting burned out of their sockets the man was standing before them in a sleek armoured form outfitted with spikes and coloured in gold and black, with a red cloak spilling from the pointed shoulder-pads. He was wearing some kind of helmet but all that could be seen behind it was two glowing green circles.

There was silence for a second. And then Arashi leapt up into the air and span towards Kaisu and Ren bringing his leg down towards them.

Sakura grabbed Yuki with the hand that wasn't cradling her sister and made for the door. Cross pulled Nakida towards the church door.

Watching from afar Ame squealed and looked at Hitofuki pleadingly.
"Can I? Please, please, pretty-please!" She asked, bouncing up and down.
Hitofuki nodded and gestured towards the red button on the ground. Ame smiled and brought her right foot down on the EDG they'd placed there. There was a rumbling and then the plants began to grow and stretch out towards the church ...

Ren tackled Kaisu, getting them both away as Arashi came back down. Ren rolled aside, wishing he had a weapon like Kaisu did, or a way to chakusou away from the Phoenix, but he could only do it in the booths the Phoenix had.

"Ren!" Kaisu shouted. "Get to Core Scuba!" He slid his weapon into Sword Mode and made a wild slash at Arashi.

"Scuba? Why?" Ren questioned, but ran anyway, awaiting the arrival of the Phoenix.

[OOC: Core Scuba is Kaisu's car isn't it?]

Arashi ran forward and jumped at Kaisu, his right hand went straight for his throat, ready to start electrocuting him. Sakura looked behind them and threw Yuri into the bride's arms.
"Get my sister out of here!" She ordered, running to Kaisu's rescue, then a vine grabbed her leg and caused her to trip up and fall flat on her face. Another giant root rose out of the ground and shot towards Yuri and Yuki.

Resuce Phoenix was about five minutes away ...

Ren looked back, seeing the vines working. He turned and ran in that direction, grabbing Yuki and Yuri, pulling them out of the way. He ran to Sakura and tried to get the vines torn off, but wasn't successful on his own, with only his hands.

"I can't get it off!"

[It has a Chakusou Booth installed.]

"Dragon Charge!" He slid his weapon back into Gun Mode and held it there, charging it and ducking under Arashi's hands. He shot at his head before dashing towards Sakura.

"Dragon Charge!" He slid his weapon yet again into Sword Mode and readied as the aura steadily appeared. Slowly, he tapped the root with the blade, speeding up with each tap.

Sakura pulled the remains of the plant off her and then pushed Kaisu away so that an electrified Arashi fist went straight into her chest and flung her backwards. She moaned in pain and then looked up groggily, Arashi was approaching Kaisu from behind, snow and ice dripping off his helmeted face.

She turned around again and saw another plant menacing her sister and Ren's new wife.
"R-ren ... Kaisu ... someone ... someone help my sister!" She mumbled, quietly.

Kaisu growled, spinning around to see Arashi sneaking up on him. He cut his chinos and threw his jacket at Arashi's head.

"Chakusou!" He announced before swiping a card in his Commander. Core Scuba came tearing through the village at it's maximum speed. It drifted onto the scene and headed for Yuri and Yuki, swatting the plant away before letting out a burst of speed. The AI had timed it perfectly and the two slid onto the bayonet(Think that's what it's called. The front bit) and slowly slid off as it drifted to have it's back to Kaisu. Arashi had been batted to the side and the screen appeared around him, holographics flashing around him.

Rescue Phoenix approached the danger zone and landed. Kenji stood up and opened a Comm Link.
"Everyone back to the Rescue Phoenix, chakusou and then launch the vehicles, okay?" Kenji asked.

"Got it," Cross replied to Kenji through his Rescue Commander, he looked at Nakida "We'll launch the Rescue Taker, you use the Life Search, okay? Then we can cut down all these rampant plants,"

Sakura meanwhile was trying to get her sister and Yuki away from the giant plants, while behind her Arashi was launching lightning bolts at R3.

Ren raced towards the Phoenix, running into the control room where the closest booths would be. He ran inside and swiped a card through his Commander.

"Chakusou!"

His armor appeared rapidly, so he ran to his Core Wing. He got into his car and drove back towards the church, but in the entire time he was gone, two minutes would have elapsed.

(so feel free to exclude Ren for a few posts to fill that gap of him transforming)

Cross ran towards the Phoenix, half-dragging Nakida after him. Cross ran through the Control Room and transformed, landing in the garage and starting up Rescue Taker to start dealing with the larger plant monsters.
"Nakida? You ready?" He smirked.

Sakura was tied up with another plant, it kept whipping at her and she was having to knock it back with a piece of guttering that had fallen off the church but sadly wasn't doing much good.

The booth deflected the bolts until R3 flew out of the small stand. He threw a Break Axe at Arashi before lunging at him with his sword. He threw his weapon into the air and pulled out a Tri-Basher from his pack. He unclipped the hose and sprayed him with it, hoping to freeze his joints.

Meanwhile Nakida was clambering into the driver's seat of Life Search.

"Ready!" She chimed. "Let's go beat up those planty freaks!"

"Right! Rescue Taker, Start Up!" The blue train vehicle started to move forward and then accelerated out of the Phoenix's doors and headed towards the larger plants in the centre of the village. They were starting to coil together, and had sort of Venus Fly-trap heads. Cross headed straight towards one of them and tried to bore through, but to no success.
"Dammit, they're tough ..."

The plant root knocked Sakura's piece of plastic guttering out of her hand and then slashed at her face, making her fall backwards onto the floor. It came down again and she managed to kick it away but on the next lunge it managed to wrap around her leg ...

Ren rushed in, using his Rescue Slicer to cut away the plants near Sakura. He glanced back to her, "Go, I've got these under control for now."

Sakura nodded and headed off to the Phoenix only to find that Cross had taken her vehicle. Kenji was struggling to mobilise the emergency services and that the only vehicle she could take was New Striker. Well it was certainly better than nothing.

Jishin, Hitofuki and Ame stepped up to Ren.
"Hello! Ren-kun! I hope your okay," Ame giggled, waving at him.
"I see you two have met our commander, Arashi," Hitofuki said, gesturing at the lightning powered figure.
