The Villages

"You seem happy," Cross smiled "How come?"

"Just 'cause. Maybe it's something to do with Kenji going ballistic again." Nakida shrugged. She pondered on that for a moment, then frowned. "Maybe not that."

"Oooh, we like getting Kenji mad do we?" Cross smiled "I had no idea you we-"
"Kenneth," Hikaru warned
Cross stopped smiling and blushed "Yes sir, sorry sir, won't happen again sir,"

"He's just overdramatic." Nakida insisted before shutting up.

"How much farther?" Hikaru asked.

"Through here and the third house to our right." Nakida told him as she followed her own directions.

"And here we are." Nakida announced warily as they turned into the street.

"Well then, let's see what's going on." Hikaru said, walking to the door and knocking on it.

After a few moments, Ren opened the door, "...Captain...what are you doing here?"

"I heard about what happened from the others. I came to get some information for Kenji...or rather, to get away from him...well, anyway, I mainly came to see what was going on." He looked at Sakura and Nakida, "I brought everyone so that they could clear the air with you about anything that went wrong last time. May we come in?"

Ren opened the door wider, "Please do, everyone."

"You're getting married!" Cross shouted "That's awesome!" He grabbed at Ren's shoulders and tried to take his shoes off with his feet "I met her for a second but I can't remember her, Is she pretty? Is she nice? Do you like her? How did you meet? Is she nice? What's her name? Is she cute? How old is she? Has she been married before? Have you been married before? Is she nice? How long have you been together? When are you getting married? Is it in a church? Can we come? Is she nice? Have you got a dress yet? Or is it a kimono? Ah! This is so cool!"

Cross stopped talking and then took a deep breath. Gasping in air.

"Please, slow down." Ren said, "I didn't catch any of that."

"You asked whether she was nice twice." Nakida giggled. "Look, Ren." She gulped.

"We're sorry we were rude to you and your fiance before." She started as she pushed Sakura beside her. "It just kinda suprised us, I guess. Look, I know this isn't much of an apology, but... Sorry." Nakida said slowly.

"Thank you." Ren said, "I'll accept your apology. Sakura?"

"Y-yeah," Sakura said, wishing the ground would swallow her up "I'm sorry ..."

"Thank you, Sakura." Ren said. He looked back to Cross, "Now, what was it that you were saying? Slower, this time."

"Can you introduce us?! ... please?" Cross asked, having just recovered his breath.

"Yeah, sure. Yuki-san!"

Yuki walked into the room, looking over the group. She looked at Nakida and Sakura, but ignored them after the last time they spoke.

"Arai, Yuki." She introduced herself, "It's a pleasure to meet you." She told Cross, Kaisu and Hikaru, whom she had yet to meet prior to this.

"Ah! She is pretty!" Cross exclaimed running forward and hugging her.
"Please excuse our friend," Sakura sighed "He's a little ... off,"

"Can you...can you please let go?" Yuki asked Cross, uncomfortable from his sudden hug.

"Um yeah ... yeah," Cross let go and then smiled "Ah! I'm so happy for you both! You're going to be sooooooo happy together!"
"Yes I'm sure you will ..." Sakura breathed.

Ren ignored Sakura. He clasped Cross on the shoulder, "Thank you, Cross. I'm sure we will be happy."

Cross grinned and nodded.
"Yah, when are you two getting married?" He asked.

"Presumably a day or two." Ren replied.

"A bit sudden don't you think?" Sakura pointed out.

"It's arranged, it's been ready for a while." Ren stated simply, knowing Sakura's apparent distaste from earlier for his arranged marriage.

"Defi-"
"A while, why didn't you tell us!?" Cross asked, a bit louder than normal.

Sakura looked a bit confused but nonetheless let Cross interrupt her.

"It was never important to tell you guys." Ren told Cross, "It's a part of my personal life that I wanted to keep to myself."
