Ryukendo is in continuity with the original Force series, as seen in the movie, though it could be an homage, I doubt that. I don't know of any official confirmation other than that, but we're going with that they are. We've already used the Madan weapons and keys, I believe, at one point in the past.
I just wanted to throw that out there, so don't be surprised if some characters pop up. You're sure to see JackMoon at the least, if I can fit him in.

If it's not, we could always just say that Cross had thought that Ryukendo might have been real after Fire-1X and later R-SOUL.
