PostSubject: Not quite an upgrade, but... Idea for the new upgrades.   Sat Jan 22, 2011 12:15 am

For the upcoming upgrades(Great Rescue Max, Seraph Form) I realised it would be impossible to just do them.

Extra armour capabilities(Seraph) and random bits of things that make a robot(Great Rescue Max) don't really just suddenly appear.

The Great Rescue Max thing can be resolved by making some adjustments and adding pieces(Specifically better Gattai links, extra armour on Scuba and Wing to help create the body and major ones to the Striker that will allow for 'feet'.)

As for Seraph, I have an idea.

During the CF arc Rescue Force are backed into a corner. Once trapped there they began making nescesary upgrades, though it means that the team cannot Chakusou. Later, the group is sent back out in their new forms.

G2R#.

This is the first protoype(lol), G2R1.

Thanks to the Trinity of Pixel Grid.

Comparison's to Cross's old images(A few corrections)
The visor colour on this is more show-accurate(In most scenes it's gold.)
The commander on the side (Cross had coloured it grey)
Slightly more detailed(Like, a few pixels xD) lights on the helmet.
Different colours.
Everything below.

Comparisons to the old R1 suit
The lines have been changed to blue.
The line across the sole of the boot.
Silver has been changed to gold.
Oxygen mask has been changed to blue.

Changes to be done:
Text needs to be improved.
Detail in general(This is more of my own mission)
The rest of the team.

I'm going to try them in Paint, GIMP and Photoshop.

If anyone finds a UFDA logo(The R) please send it to me.

Graphically, it's just cosmetic.

In-story changes:
Seraph Mode activation panel
Armour changes ready for Seraph Chakusou.
Improved armour - Moer durable and lightweight
Improved visibility
Improved Backpack
New HUD interface.

And such.

Just an idea. Yay or nay?

I'm afraid the colours look a bit weird, it's really bright and looks a bit cluttered =/

I like the idea though, I had wanted to change Sakura and Cross's armour so they look more like the "proper" versions (Cross - Silver and Orange, Sakura - Pale Pink and Orange).

Yeah, I agree on those points.

The blue I chose was a really bad shade =/

I'm going to the try the next ones...

By recolouring the REAL suits.

Once I transfer Photoshop back over I'll have another shot at this.

And I'm going to make about ten variants, just to test it out.

I like the idea of it, that there isn't just the original and the new upgrades, but steps inbetween. Let's go with it.

And I have a new upgrade coming up later as well, but I'm keeping that one to myself for now.

Also, I was thinking that everyone should have their lines and such recoloured to those of the original/Gen2 suits. But that would look awkward in many situations.

Oh, by the way, by 'backed into a corner' I meant something along the lines of them being trapped with the Phoenix somewhere ;3

Anyway, this is go? Minus the colours which you guys can choose?

We talking about Seraph/Seraphim (Name escapes me)? I figured it wouldn't deploy in this battle currently.
